What is an FSA?
A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is a tax-advantaged medical savings account available to those who have predictable medical expenses in the near future and wish to set aside funds for them. Funds that are deposited into your Flexible Spending Account are not subject to taxes at the time of deposit. Funds are deposited via a payroll deduction and then can be used on qualified medical expenses such as prescriptions, physician exams, radiology, pathology, as well as dental and vision expenses.
